My Aunt's Caesar's Salad

I’ve been wanting to make this salad ever since I first got to it try while being my aunt’s place in Canada for the first time in 2009. For me it’s simply the best caesar’s salad I’ve ever got. Unfortunately, I failed on getting all the ingredients. (Turns out, it’s not a problem at all. It was just me being stupid when it came to using supermarkets.) Anyway, people liked it so I thought I should share it. So here it is:

  • 1 big romaine lettuce
  • 5-6 table spoons mayonnaise
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • ½ lemon’s juice
  • ½ tea spoon anchovy paste
  • 1 table spoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ red wine vinegar (I’m not confident that that’s the proper english name)
  • 4-5 garlic cloves

Slowly add the olive oil to the mayonnaise and mix it by hand to avoid the ingredients to go runny. Throw in the other ingredients and keep mixing. That’s it. ;)

We added some roasted bacon, parmesan and garlic croutons.
