I’d like to share my thoughts on the Kindle Voyage as someone who barely read until he got his first Kindle a few years ago. The Kindle somehow changed my relationship to the written word. I still don’t read very many books each year, but that’s only because I’m a rather slow reader. Nonetheless, the number of books and the topics that interest me have been growing ever since.

After using only the Smart Cover for the last couple of months, a few days back I got a new iPad case in the style of the original case. It’s the Pipetto Leather iPad case in Rocker Black. It’s a lovely and well crafted handmade case which feels pretty great in the hand. The leather is soft but the case itself is rather sturdy.

It offers the same functions in terms of standing as the original iPad case did plus the magnetic put-the-iPad-to-sleep-function. At least it should. Mine actually does not put the device to sleep when I close it. I’m talking to the manufacturer about that.
