Apple started informing developers today that universal macOS apps on the Mac App Store that require macOS 13 or later can now drop support for Intel-based Macs.
So six years in, we can finally move on. I think back in 2020 they said that it would take them two years to fully transition from Intel to their own Apple Silicon chips. The last computer to make the move was the Mac Pro in June 2023.
