Back To The Roots

tl;dr: I’m looking for a new side project.

Some of you may know that I moved my professional focus to a new field after getting my degree in early 2013. I was offered to join our family business, which has absolutely nothing to do with computer science. Since I thought it might be a great idea to keep learning, I finished a few courses which led to another job title I can add to my résumé. Now I’m also an occupational safety specialist1 and planning supervisor2 and I do this as my day job now.

At first, I tried to fit both my development work and the new job into my schedule. As the new job required a lot of learning, preparation and meetings with clients I quickly learned that I had to cut back on the development time.

During those last two years I found out how much I really liked the computer world on how much it saddened me not to be a part of it anymore. This is something I want to change in 2015.

What I’d like to do is bring back the balance between my two jobs. This implies that the new project should be doable on a part-time, freelance basis. Remote is a must as well. Ideally, it should be in the iOS or Mac realm. That’s what I love the most.

It does not necessarily need to be a paid job. If you have a plan for a cool new project and still need help, let’s talk. I consider myself fairly open-minded. :-)

So, if you see fit or if you want to talk about a project I’d love to hear from you.

Lets see what 2015 will bring.
